• Select the layer you want to duplicate
• Choose how many layers you want to make a copy of
• Choose if you want the layers to have 3d properties or not
• Run the script:
  • There will now be a composition in place of the layer you wanted duplicated
  • There will also be a null added to your composition with controls to affect the duplicated layers

Control Descriptions:Number Visible
Number of visible layers (Maximum is the amount entered when the script is run)
Number Offset 
Offset of visible layers
Position X 
The starting X position for the precomp
Position X Offset 
The offset in X for the position of each of the duplicate layers
Position Y 
The starting Y position for the precomp
Position Y Offset 
The offset in Y for the position of each of the duplicate layers
Position Z 
The starting Z position for the precomp
Position Z Offset 
The offset in Z for the position of each of the duplicate layers
Rotation X 
The starting rotation for the precomp
Rotation X Offset 
The offset for the rotation of each of the duplicate layers
Rotation Y 
The starting rotation for the precomp
Rotation Y Offset 
The offset for the rotation of each of the duplicate layers
Rotation Z 
The starting rotation for the precomp
Rotation Z Offset 
The offset for the rotation of each of the duplicate layers
Scale X 
The starting X scale for the precomp
Scale X Offset 
The offset in X for the scale of each of the duplicate layers
Scale Y 
The starting Y scale for the precomp
Scale Y Offset 
The offset in Y for the scale of each of the duplicate layers
Scale Z 
The starting Z scale for the precomp
Scale Z Offset 
The offset in Z for the scale of each of the duplicate layers
Opacity Begin-End 
If checked, opacity will be derived from the Opacity Begin and Opacity End Sliders
If unchecked, opacity will be derived from Opacity and Opacity Offset
Opacity Begin 
The starting opacity of all the duplicate layers. This will start at your original layer that you ran the script on. (Only active if Opacity Begin-End is checked)
Opacity End 
The ending opacity of all the duplicate layers. (Only active if Opacity Begin-End is checked)
Opacity 
The starting opacity for the precomp (Only active if Opacity Begin-End is unchecked)
Opacity Offset 
The offset for the opacity of each of the duplicate layers (Only active if Opacity Begin-End is unchecked)
Frame Offset 
The time offset for all layers to be delayed by.
Random Frame Amount 
A random amounts of frame per layer that will affect the Frame Offset
